Florence Knoll (1917 - 2019), an American architect and designer, passed away at the age of 101 in Coral Gables, Florida.
A student of, among others, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Eliel Saarinen, she revolutionized the world of interior design and invented office life as we know it today. She is one of the major figures of 20th-century architecture and design.
