Rely HW6 Chair by Hee Welling

The HW6 is the base chair of the Rely range: a one-piece shell that serves as both backrest and seat, set on four welded steel tube legs. It arrives assembled; there is nothing to put together. The seat height is 45.5 cm, the standard height for a dining chair, suitable for a 73 to 75 cm table. The base is available in three finishes—black, chrome, or bronze—and the glides can be chosen at the time of order: felt for parquet and tile floors, plastic for carpeting.

What "100% recycled polypropylene" means

The shell is injection-molded from 100% recycled polypropylene, reinforced with 15% glass fiber for rigidity. The black plastic comes from automotive interior panels, while the colored shells are made from industrial offcuts. The material is shredded, mixed with pigment, and then injected: the color is therefore integrated throughout the material rather than just on the surface, so a scratch will not reveal a different shade. The HW6 is the only Rely model specifically listed in the European Ecolabel catalog, under license DK/049/019 held by &Tradition, which has also been a B Corporation certified company since October 2024.
