« Designed for HAY by Jasper Morrison, Pack Chair 10 is a contemporary reinterpretation of the wooden trattoria chair. Its moulded plastic seat and backrest translate a familiar silhouette into an industrial context, while solid oak legs and an optional plywood backrest introduce a natural counterpoint to the form. The seat and backrest are made from 80% post-consumer recycled polypropylene blended with wood fibres, which reinforce the material and lend the surface a subtle, natural tactility. La coque en polypropylène recyclé
L'assise et le dossier moulés sont composés à 80 % de polypropylène post-consommation recyclé mélangé à des fibres de bois — HAY précise que ce mélange « reinforce the material and lend the surface a subtle, natural tactility ». Le piètement est en chêne massif, huilé ou laqué noir à l'eau. Livré à plat, le montage se fait sans outil particulier.
Piètement et coloris
Deux finitions de piètement — chêne huilé ou chêne laqué noir — et cinq coloris de coque en chêne huilé (le chêne laqué noir n'est proposé qu'en brun graphite). Chaque combinaison a son propre visuel dans la galerie ci-dessus.

Jasper Morrison est un designer industriel britannique né à Londres en 1959, diplômé de Kingston Polytechnic, du Royal College of Art et de la HdK de Berlin. Il ouvre son propre studio, l'Office for Design, à Londres en 1986. HAY le présente comme l'auteur d'un « simple yet characterful furniture and household products for many international companies ». Il est Royal Designer for Industry, lauréat du Compasso d'Oro et Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE). Le Pack Chair est sa première création pour HAY.

HAY est un éditeur de design danois fondé en 2002 par Rolf et Mette Hay. La maison s'est donné pour objet de rendre le design accessible, en travaillant avec des designers contemporains sur des pièces simples et fonctionnelles, dans la filiation du design scandinave des années 1950 et 1960. Depuis 2018, l'américain Herman Miller — aujourd'hui MillerKnoll — en est l'actionnaire majoritaire.

EXCHANGES AND RETURNS

The products must be returned in their original packaging, in resalable condition.
Any product returned damaged will not be refunded.
PLEASE NOTE: any "personalized" product (choice of fabric, color of wood, custom dimensions, etc.) cannot be refunded: the product is not in stock and is specially made by the manufacturer to the customer.
