In it, Charlotte Perriand revisits the Chaise longue à réglage continu "4," following her concept of marrying rationalism with nature.
This iconic piece is produced in bamboo or teak with a seat made of curved slats connected by brass elements.
The chaise longue consists of a seat made of 12 curved rods in teak (dark wood) or bamboo (light wood), while the cradle is made of curved rods of the same wood. The connecting elements between the rods and the crossbars are in satin-finish brass.
The base is either teak or solid bamboo.
The mattress and headrest are made of draining polyurethane padding and stain-resistant acrylic yarn fabric (an exclusive formula called Glen Raven), which is mold-resistant and ISO 9001 certified.

Née à Paris en 1903, Charlotte Perriand rejoint l'atelier de Le Corbusier et Pierre Jeanneret en 1927, part au Japon en 1940 puis conçoit la station des Arcs. La boutique réunit ses rééditions officielles Cassina, du tabouret Berger à la chaise longue Tokyo, et les pièces signées avec Le Corbusier et Jeanneret.

Cassina
Cassina est fondée en 1927 à Meda par les frères Cesare et Umberto Cassina. À partir de 1948, la maison sépare conception et fabrication et travaille avec des architectes extérieurs, à commencer par Gio Ponti, dont la chaise 699 Superleggera, produite dès 1957, ne pèse que 1,7 kg. En 1965, elle commence à éditer les meubles dessinés dans les années 1920 par Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret et Charlotte Perriand. La collection Cassina I Maestri, lancée en 1973, réunit ces archétypes du XXe siècle et des œuvres de Gerrit T. Rietveld et de Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
