Rely HW65 stackable chair by Hee Welling

The HW65 takes the shell of the Rely chair and places it on a tubular base redesigned for stacking: the legs are slightly flared and the shell features molded supports under the seat, so that twelve chairs can be stored in a stack without scratching each other. This is the version designed for rooms that are reset after each use: restaurants, meeting rooms, reception areas. A stacking trolley is available upon request in the &Tradition catalog. The seat height is 45.5 cm, the base can be chosen in black or chrome, and the glides can be selected when ordering: felt for parquet and tile floors, plastic for carpet.

What "100% recycled polypropylene" means

The shell is injection-molded from 100% recycled polypropylene, reinforced with 15% fiberglass for rigidity. The black plastic comes from automotive interior panels, while the colored shells are made from industrial offcuts. The material is ground, mixed with pigment, and then injected: the color is therefore integrated into the material rather than just on the surface, so a scratch does not reveal a different shade. On a chair that is stacked and unstacked daily, this matters. &Tradition has been B Corporation certified since October 2024.
