Rely HW96 bar chair by Hee Welling

The HW96 is the high-backed version of the Rely bar stool. The shell extends to the shoulder blades and supports the entire back, which is a game-changer for a meal seated at a bar rather than a stop of a few minutes. The seat is at 75 cm, the height suitable for a bar of approximately 110 cm. The chair arrives assembled: the shell is bolted onto a welded steel tube base, powder-coated in black or bronze, with a footrest crossbar. Glides are chosen at the time of order, felt for parquet and tile, plastic for carpet.

What "100% recycled polypropylene" means

The shell is injection-molded from polypropylene made from 100% recycled material, reinforced with 15% glass fiber for rigidity. The black plastic comes from automotive interior panels, the colored shells from industrial offcuts. The material is shredded, mixed with pigment, and then injected: the color is therefore throughout the material and not just on the surface, so a scratch does not reveal a different shade. &Tradition has been B Corporation certified since October 2024.
