Palissade Cord Table Bench

Palissade Cord takes the powder-coated steel frame from the collection and replaces the steel slats with recycled polyester cord, hand-woven onto the frame in a tone that matches the color of the frame. The change is not decorative: the cord deforms slightly under weight and contours to the body, whereas the slat remains flat, making the seat more flexible without adding a cushion. The weaving allows water and air to pass through, just like the slatted version, so the seat dries just as quickly. The symmetrical geometry and proportions remain exactly those of the original version: the two versions can be mixed around the same table. This dining bench measures 128 cm long by 70 cm deep, with a backrest and armrests: these are the dimensions of the original Palissade dining bench, with which it can be combined around the same table.
