Applique Pochette Up/Down LED by Rodolfo Dordoni

Rodolfo Dordoni designed Pochette in 2003 as a small volume pressed against the wall, with a low enough profile to fit in a hallway without being bumped into. It casts a beam toward the ceiling and another toward the floor: two streaks of light are drawn on either side of the body, allowing the wall to breathe in between. It is an ambient light, the kind installed in pairs along a corridor or on either side of a bed.

The body is made of die-cast Zamak alloy, a dense material that gives an object of this size a substantial weight in the hand and a very clean finish on the edges. The 22 W 2700 K LED source is integrated and comes with the wall lamp; it is dimmable provided a 1-10 V dimmer is used, which is not supplied. Three finishes: white, grey, and chrome.
