Described by Belgian designers Muller van Severen as a marriage between two materials used at their best, the Two-Colour table series is inspired by the contrasts and similarities of the materials used. The tubular steel legs ensure optimal strength and stability, while the table surface is made of organically colored Valchromat - a unique type of sturdy, FSC-certified, water-lacquered MDF material. The two components are united by equal thickness, creating a uniform silhouette that is disrupted by the contrasting color elements. Two-Colour is available in different shapes, sizes and color combinations, all offering a distinct personality that makes it ideal for a wide variety of environments, from cafes and restaurants to homes and offices.

Muller Van Severen was founded in 2011 by the Belgian artist duo Fien Muller and Hannes Van Severen. The couple have always been on an inspired quest for sculpturally interesting furnishing objects, and their work sits somewhere between design and art, drawing on their passion for architecture and materials. They have won countless awards and collaborated with prestigious museums around the world (such as the Vitra Museum, the Center Pompidou and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris) and international galleries (Galerie Kreo, Side Gallery, Valerie Traan Gallery) .
For HAY, Muller van Severen designed the two-tone table, the Arcs lampshades and the Arcs candlestick and vase.

The HAY brand was founded in 2002 in Denmark by the couple Rolf & Mette Hay. Inspired by art, architecture and fashion, the Hay couple wanted to produce designer furniture accessible to as many people as possible, reflecting the innovative grandeur of Danish design from the 1950s and 1960s. Hay places design at the center of the home and office with simple, functional and aesthetic products, in collaboration with contemporary artists and designers. Since 2018, HAY has been expanding and developing across the Atlantic by partnering with the American furniture company Herman Miller, whose historical heritage in design is no longer in doubt.

DELIVERY TIME
Products in stock, shipped via La Poste Colissimo or GLS, are sent within 48 hours (working days). Your order is delivered to your home within 2 to 5 working days for products in stock. A tracking number will be sent to you by email automatically. Larger products are shipped by specialized carrier. You will be contacted to set a time slot at your convenience. We also ensure international delivery of all our products by La Poste Colissimo, GLS or by specialized carrier.
IN-STORE COLLECTION
Products in stock, standard size, are available immediately after your order in our store THE WOODS GALLERY, 22 rue André del Sarte, 75018 Paris during opening hours (check on Google) Please show us your confirmation email when collecting.
Larger products must be collected by appointment. Please contact us to agree on the date and time by email: contact@the-woods.fr.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
The customer has a period of fourteen days to exercise his right of withdrawal and return at his own expense the products which do not give him satisfaction in accordance with article L.121-20 of the Consumer Code , The products must be returned in their original packaging, in resalable condition. Any product returned damaged will not be refunded. PLEASE NOTE: any "personalized" product (choice of fabric, color of wood, custom dimensions, etc.) cannot be refunded: the product is not in stock and is specially made by the manufacturer to the customer.
