Tray Table S - Hay

The metal Tray table is a multifunctional piece of furniture that can be easily adapted to your needs. When the tray is in place, it can be used as a bedside table or coffee table, while when removed, it becomes a classic tray that can be used to carry items.

The design

The Tray series is not attributed to any external designer: HAY signs it with its own name and its product page carries no author credit. This is a common occurrence with this manufacturer, which calls on independent designers for part of its catalog and designs the rest itself. What defines the piece here is the material: HAY crafts it from steel in several finishes, sizes, and colors, with some versions playing on two-tone combinations.
