Tray ML 40 tray table

Tray Table M - Hay

The metal Tray table is a multifunctional piece of furniture that can be easily adapted to your needs. When the tray is in place, it can be used as a bedside table or coffee table, while when it is removed, it becomes a classic tray that can be used to carry objects.

The design

The Tray series is not attributed to any outside designer: HAY signs it with its own name, and its product page carries no authorship credit. This is a frequent occurrence with this manufacturer, which calls on independent designers for part of its catalogue and designs the rest itself. What defines this piece here is the material: HAY produces it in steel, in several finishes, sizes, and colours, with some versions featuring two-tone designs.
