Classics on Acid starts with the imagery of European decorative porcelain—landscapes, birds, flowers, blue and white patterns—and subjects it to distortion: the motif stretches, melts, or multiplies as if under a kaleidoscopic effect. The collection includes eighteen design variations and covers plates, salad bowls, trays, display stands, and glasses. Each reference features its own named design, such as Melting Landscape, Pajaro, Koi, Regal, or Acid Flower, allowing for the composition of a deliberately mismatched table setting rather than a matching set. The tableware pieces are made of porcelain; the matching placemats are cork, and the cutlery is stainless steel. The name plays on a double meaning: these are classic tableware staples, on acid.

The deformation is not just in the design: it is also in the mold. Several pieces in the range have two different dimensions, 25 × 24.5 cm for a soup plate, 21.4 × 20.3 cm for a dessert plate; in other words, they are not round. Placed flat on a table, they do not align. The pieces are finished by hand: from one item to the next, the pattern is never in exactly the same place.
