Seikantai5271 is a dinnerware set designed by Bruno Laurenzano, built on the connection the publisher claims exists between food and desire: two sensory, shared, and intimate experiences. The patterns are illustrated scenes, one per plate, and each set brings together three: a dinner plate, a soup plate, and a dessert plate, accompanied by a hand-decorated pure linen napkin.
Under each plate, a discreet QR code provides access to a selection of recipes chosen by the artist. The plates are square with softened corners: 26.5 cm for the dinner plate, 22.7 cm for the soup plate, 19 cm for the dessert plate, and 43 × 43 cm for the napkin.
Porcelain, linen, and gold, according to the publisher: the piece is neither microwave nor dishwasher safe.
