Fenis is a chair designed by Carlo Mollino in 1959 and reissued by Zanotta under license. It is made entirely of solid maple, with a natural or black varnish. The backrest is split into two uprights that flare out at the top, the seat is curved, and the rear legs tilt outwards: the chair stands thanks to the design of its curves, without any metal parts. It measures 38 cm wide, 58 cm deep, and 96 cm high, with a seat height of 45 cm.

A collector's item

Fenis is featured in the collections of the Museo del Design 1880-1980 in Milan and the Museum für Angewandte Kunst in Cologne. The rights to Carlo Mollino's work belong to the Italian State; Zanotta produces it under an exclusive license granted by the Agenzia del Demanio.
