Jaime Hayon

Jaime Hayon, born in Spain in 1974, trained at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Madrid and then at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. He directed the design department at Fabrica, the Benetton Group's research center, for four years before founding his own studio in Valencia in 2000. His practice encompasses furniture, lighting, objects, and interior design for Fritz Hansen, Cassina, BD Barcelona, Magis, Baccarat, Lladró, and &Tradition; his pieces are held in the collections of the Groninger Museum, the Museu del Disseny in Barcelona, and the MAD in New York.
