The all-wood version of the bar stool: oak veneer shell and solid oak legs, with a stainless steel footrest: the part that takes the wear from shoe soles. Two seat heights, 65 and 75 cm.

Oak veneer, and why it is curved

The shell is made of oak veneer sheets glued and pressed into a mold: this is known as molded plywood. The process allows for a thin, and therefore lightweight, shell that forms a continuous curve without edges or joints. This is what gives the series its name: the edge of the seat softens instead of cutting into the thigh.

The lacquer is water-based. The natural oak leaves the grain visible; the opaque stains cover it more while keeping the texture of the grain.
