Superfurniture is a complete range of furniture that reinterprets the radical Italian design of the 1960s and 1970s: bold forms, flat blocks of color, and patterns printed over the entire surface. The storage units, tables, and surfaces are made of laminate MDF, a panel where the printed face serves as both decoration and finish; this is what allows a screen or an entire wardrobe to be covered with the same pattern without visible seams. The chairs feature metal frames with sled bases and plywood seats. Four patterns appear across the pieces: Terrazzo, Blue Grid, Red Grid, and Blue Stripes. The collection's concept relies on this repetition: two pieces of furniture with the same pattern complement each other as a set, two different patterns in the same room act as accents, and a single piece is enough to add color to a neutral interior. The collection originated at Seletti in 2025 and expanded that same year to include chairs, stools, bistro tables, and a square table.
How the patterns transform the furniture
Terrazzo imitates the aggregate sprinkle of a poured floor, Blue Grid and Red Grid trace a regular grid, and Blue Stripes features wide stripes. Printed flat onto the laminate, these patterns add no texture: the surface remains smooth and cleans like any ordinary laminate surface. However, they make edges disappear, as the pattern runs uninterrupted from one face to the next: a cabinet treated this way is perceived as a graphic volume rather than a piece of panel furniture. The collection also includes a bathroom mirror rimmed with E27 sockets; the manufacturer lists the corresponding LED bulb separately (ref. 16525LW, 7 W, 800 lumens, 3000 K, dimmable).
