About A Lounge Chair AAL 87 by Hee Welling

The AAL 87 is the low-backed version of the About A Lounge chair on four slightly splayed steel legs. It is the visually slimmest variation in the series.

The base is made of four steel legs, either black powder-coated or chrome-plated. Two types of glides: standard, or felt for hard floors.

With or without seat cushion

The armchair can be ordered on its own, or with its matching seat cushion: the same quality of upholstery as the shell, attached with a hook-and-loop strip. HAY treats them as two distinct references: the choice is made here in the Seat cushion menu, and the surcharge corresponds exactly to the catalog price of the cushion alone.

The upholstery: 44 fabric qualities, 5 price categories

At HAY, the price of an upholstered seat depends on the price category of the fabric, not the color. Within a category, the choice of color is free and carries no surcharge. Please indicate "fabric name + color code" in the order comments: we will confirm before production begins. Samples can be viewed in-store.
