About A Lounge AAL 82 lounge chair by Hee Welling

The AAL 82 is the low-backed version of the About A Lounge chair, set on four turned wooden legs. It is the most domestic iteration of the series.

The base consists of four turned legs in water-based lacquered solid oak: HAY uses the term water-based lacquered solid oak on its product sheets. Two finishes: natural oak or black-stained oak.

With or without seat cushion

The chair can be ordered on its own or with its matching seat cushion: the same upholstery quality as the shell, attached with a hook-and-loop strip. HAY treats these as two distinct items: your choice is made here in the Seat cushion menu, and the supplement corresponds exactly to the catalog price of the cushion alone.

Upholstery: 44 qualities, 5 price categories

At HAY, the price of an upholstered seat depends on the price category of the fabric, not the color. Within a category, you are free to choose any color at no extra cost. Please indicate "fabric name + color code" in the order comments: we will confirm before starting production. Fabric samples can be viewed in-store.
