This Colour Cabinet piece features a minimalist design with bold, contrasting colors. It is reminiscent of the Bauhaus movement and the works of Donald Judd. This duo starts from the functionality of the cabinet to explore and highlight the furniture through contrasts and the assembly of materials.
The color palette was chosen to accentuate the primary shapes and dimensions of this collection. As a result, each piece is both functional and playful. The Colour Cabinet is designed to store and showcase your objects.
The entire collection is composed of units that can be configured to form furniture adapted to every room in the house. Thus, it can be used as a wall shelf, a bedside table, a sideboard, a TV stand, etc. This version, in the form of a cabinet or sideboard, can easily fit into your bedroom or dining room.
Colour Cabinet storage units are made from Valchromat: a wood fiber panel that is through-colored and varnished. The fibers are impregnated with organic dyes and chemically bonded together using a special resin.

Muller Van Severen réunit depuis 2011 les artistes belges Fien Muller et Hannes Van Severen, qui dessinent des objets d'ameublement à la lisière du design et de l'art. La boutique propose leur collection Arcs pour Hay, lampes, vases, miroirs et bougeoirs, la table Two-Colour, ainsi que des pièces éditées par Zanotta.

Hay
HAY est un éditeur de design danois fondé à Copenhague en 2002 par Rolf et Mette Hay. Les deux fondateurs en assurent toujours la direction artistique, Rolf pour le mobilier, Mette pour les accessoires. La maison travaille avec des designers contemporains comme Ronan et Erwan Bouroullec, auteurs de la collection d'extérieur Palissade, Stefan Diez, Hee Welling, créateur de la série About A Chair, ou Louise Campbell, dont la Prince Chair de 2002 est entrée au MoMA. Depuis 2019, l'américain Herman Miller, aujourd'hui MillerKnoll, en est l'actionnaire majoritaire.
