Lire la suiteThe Skygarden suspension lamp, designed by the iconoclastic Dutch designer Marcel Wanders, has become a true design star since its first presentation at the Milan Furniture Fair in 2007. It offers extreme refinement concealed behind an appearance of great sobriety. Skygarden establishes a link between past and present, subtly blending the baroque and the modern, creating a sophisticated interplay between sophistication and simplicity.
The Skygarden's aluminum dome is simple and sleek on the outside, but it conceals a sumptuous interior made of white plaster adorned with baroque-style moldings, festoons, and floral garlands. This encounter between the minimalist shape of the dome and the baroque decorations creates a surprising and delicate harmony.

Le designer
Marcel Wanders
