The Bas Relief 1 poster by Ronan Bouroullec is one of four in this attractive series of "Bas Relief" photographic prints by Ronan Bouroullec.
Printed as photographic reproductions of the ceramic reliefs created by Ronan in 2021, these posters capture the intense colors, textures, and composition of this body of work.
Transforming the entire art object into a 2D image with a real sense of depth and physicality, it presents fluid, abstract shapes created with marker strokes, which give the whole an impressive sense of depth and dimension.

The Bas Relief 1 poster is a lithograph printed on Litho paper, finished with a glossy UV varnish and embossing, on 250gsm Heaven 42 Soft Matt paper.

Le designer

Ronan Bouroullec

Ronan Bouroullec, né à Quimper en 1971, étudie à l'École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d'art. Son vase Soliflore entre au Centre Pompidou dès 1996, et Giulio Cappellini le remarque au Salon du meuble de Paris en 1997. Rejoint par son frère Erwan, il fonde avec lui un studio parisien qui dessine pour Vitra, HAY, Flos, Cassina, Magis ou Kvadrat. En parallèle, il dessine depuis l'enfance : le dessin est devenu pour lui « une sorte de compagnon », une pratique instinctive et libre. Ses dessins ont été montrés à la Galerie kreo, à la Licht Gallery de Tokyo, à la Casa Mutina de Milan et au Centre Pompidou en 2024 ; l'Art Institute of Chicago en conserve. The Wrong Shop en édite des tirages.
