Week-End garden chair by Studio Brichet-Ziegler

This is the chair that made the Week-End collection famous: a seat and backrest made of perforated sheet aluminum, folded in one piece, on four tubular legs. The perforation is not a decorative motif: it drains rainwater and prevents the metal from becoming scorching hot in the sun, making it truly usable outdoors from spring to autumn. At 3 kg, it can be carried at arm's length, and the slightly inclined backrest makes up for the lack of thickness in the seat. It is available in the 23 colors of the Week-End palette.

The Week-End collection

Week-End was born from a manufacturing choice: perforated, folded, and powder-coated sheet aluminum that lets air and water pass through. This is what allows the pieces to be left outside all season without retaining rain or heating up in the sun like solid metal. The perforation also shapes the light: at noon, each seat projects its own grid onto the ground. The entire collection shares the same palette of 23 colors, designed to be mixed and matched from one piece to the next.
