Designed in 1927 by Charlotte Perriand for her apartment on Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris, the "9" stool is a historic piece of design.
Initially crafted with a tubular metal frame and a rattan seat, this stool was integrated into the famous Le Corbusier collection, joining iconic pieces such as the adjustable chaise longue and the Grand Confort armchairs. In its original concept, the "9" stool was intended for the bathroom, with a terry cloth seat, embodying the importance of personal hygiene in the modern movement.
Cassina now reissues it in several versions, adapted for all environments.

La maison

Cassina
