The shell is made of molded polyurethane foam over a fiberglass-reinforced metal frame, with high-resilience foam padding: this is what gives it its continuous curve, with no visible seams on the sides. The same shell can be mounted on three bases: solid oak legs, a four-star swivel base in cast aluminum, or a tubular steel base. The specific color of the upholstery is selected on our Fabrics and Materials page and confirmed before production.
The JH2 swivel base rotates freely on its axis. No &Tradition source documents an automatic return mechanism or height adjustment: the seat height is fixed at 45 cm. If these two points are decisive for you, write to us and we will have the brand confirm before you place your order.

Jaime Hayon
Né à Madrid en 1974, Jaime Hayon dirige le département design de Fabrica avant d'ouvrir son studio en 2000, entre mobilier, luminaire, objet et intérieur. La boutique propose ses pièces éditées par &Tradition, dont les suspensions Formakami, la lampe Montera et le bureau Palette.
La maison
&Tradition
&Tradition est un éditeur danois fondé à Copenhague en 2010 par Martin Kornbek Hansen. Son catalogue suit deux lignes : la réédition de classiques du design danois et des créations contemporaines. Côté patrimoine, la maison édite la suspension Flowerpot dessinée par Verner Panton en 1968, le fauteuil Little Petra conçu par Viggo Boesen dans les années 1930, ainsi que des pièces d'Arne Jacobsen et de Jørn Utzon. Côté création, elle travaille notamment avec Space Copenhagen, auteur du canapé Fly, Jaime Hayon et Luca Nichetto.
