The Ombra Tokyo chair, a 1954 creation by Charlotte Perriand, is an iconic piece of modern design. Designed in Japan for the Synthesis of the Arts exhibition, this chair draws inspiration from Japanese tradition and the art of origami. Crafted from a single piece of plywood, it is distinguished by the subtle folds that give it shape. Reissued by Cassina, the Ombra Tokyo is available in natural or black-stained oak, offering a light and sculptural aesthetic, ideal for a dining room and stackable for greater functionality.

La maison

Cassina
