Lire la suiteNoah is a sofa system designed by Damian Williamson for Zanotta in 2022. The design relies on a contrast: a wide, low seat with sharp angles, supported by a slim steel base that lifts it off the floor. The structure is made of steel, with suspension on elastic straps. The seat cushion is a single piece, made of variable-density polyurethane combined with regenerated and regenerable polyester flakes; the back cushion is filled with goose down, a 100% virgin material, which explains its soft sagging over time and the need to plump it up regularly. The armrest cushions use the same polyester flakes. The fixed internal upholstery is nylon fabric, and cotton-polyester for the cushions; the external cover is removable and available in fabric or leather. The perimeter panels are covered in the same fabric or leather as the cushions, giving the volume its continuity. The exact color can be selected on our Fabrics and materials page and confirmed before production begins.
Noah consists of: right and left terminal elements, central elements, corners, chaise longue, and ottoman, which can be combined into linear or L-shaped compositions. The base is available in matte black satin-finish nickel or graphite-painted steel: two finishes with the same design, at slightly different prices. This product page features a specific configuration; other compositions can be ordered upon request.
