Toiletpaper Trumpets Plate

The porcelain plates in the series all share the same size, 27 cm in diameter, and each features an image taken from Toiletpaper magazine. The image occupies the base of the dish and stops at a gold rim that runs along the edge: this border captures the motif and frames it. The diameter corresponds to that of a standard dinner plate, which allows for mixing and matching patterns on the same table without disrupting the table setting. From one item to the next, only the subject changes: the shape, material, and size remain the same, which is what holds the series together.

The images come from Toiletpaper magazine, whose visual repertoire Seletti adapts for tableware. Each design has its own reference number and can be ordered individually: you can compose a set around a single subject or bring several images together on the same table. The size does not change from one item to the next: 27 cm in diameter throughout, so the choice of design remains independent of the question of size.

Dishwasher safe, microwave unsuitable

Seletti states that these plates are dishwasher safe but excludes them from use in the microwave. Something to keep in mind if the plates are to be used for everyday dining rather than for entertaining.
