Flos “265” wall lamp: The Iconic Homage to Colors
The "265" wall lamp was created in 1973 by the architect and designer Paolo Rizzatto. Its perfectly functionalist appearance, its strictly formal humility gives an impression of aesthetic neutrality. Having become a design classic, this industrial design wall light has continued to stand the test of time!
The "265" lamp is made up of a head and a weight, each balanced at the ends of an adjustable arm, fixed to the wall. For Paolo Rizzato, the objective of this object is to ''Contribute to improving the human experience of an architectural space''. He defines his approach as belonging to the field of architecture: ''As an architect, I work with the concept of composition: everything I design is made up of several parts, my work consists of identifying each of the elements of a project and put them together in a harmonious and logical way.''
