Herman SHY3 Lamp by Signe Hytte

Small yet majestic, the Herman lamp pays tribute to one of Denmark's greatest writers. Named after Herman Bang, this table lamp celebrates the author’s artistic legacy and the way he lived his life. Considered a pioneer who shed light on issues ignored by society, Bang became a figure of the modern breakthrough. Delicately proportioned and crafted from honest materials, the Herman lamp possesses a strength of character that reflects its formidable namesake. With its silhouette from another era, it is reminiscent of lamps that might have sat on Bang’s desk while he wrote. Featuring a selection of tactile and natural materials, Herman by And Tradition consists of a rounded opal glass shade, a walnut stem, and a cream marble base. A diffuse light radiates through and beneath the shade, creating a cozy atmosphere and a sense of tranquility.
