The weight is engraved in Roman numerals, in the style of lapidary inscriptions, and the octagonal geometry of the handles recalls the fluting of a Doric column. These are functional objects, but their material and mass make them as much pieces to be left on display as they are sports equipment.
The series includes a disc, a kettlebell, and two sets of dumbbells of varying weights.

Alessandro Zambelli
Formé au design industriel à l'école Cova de Milan, Alessandro Zambelli débute chez Agape en 2000 puis fonde son studio en 2003 près de Mantoue. Il collabore avec Seletti depuis 2006, et la boutique propose ses lampes Daily Glow ainsi que la ligne de musculation en marbre Lvdis.
La maison
Seletti
Seletti est un éditeur italien fondé en 1964 à Cicognara, dans la province de Mantoue. La maison édite du mobilier, des luminaires, de l'art de la table et des objets de décoration, et revendique un lien entre design et pop art en détournant les icônes du quotidien. Elle collabore avec des designers et artistes comme Marcantonio, auteur de la Monkey Lamp, Tatiana Brodatch ou Codalunga. En 2014, elle lance Seletti wears Toiletpaper, des assiettes, mugs et nappes qui reprennent les images du magazine créé par Maurizio Cattelan et Pierpaolo Ferrari.
