In 1994, Philippe Starck designed a floor lamp reduced to its essence: three aluminum rods and a piece of ultra-light fabric, simply held at the top, which allows a soft light to pass through and creates a different silhouette depending on the viewing angle. The fabric bears the designer's embroidered signature. A built-in dimmer allows it to be turned down to a mere glow.

Le designer

Philippe Starck
