The Betty armchair is a direct adaptation of the chair, featuring two continuous armrests integrated into the same piece as the backrest. It is 10 cm wider and remains stackable up to eight high. As with the chair, the seat can be chosen with hand-woven linen webbing, in wood, or upholstered in high-resilience foam. What Betty webbing really is

The webbed seat is hand-woven, strand by strand. The technical specifications from &Tradition detail the exact composition: natural linen and polypropylene. Marketing copy often mentions only "hand-woven linen fibers" and omits the polypropylene; we prefer to provide you with the actual material. It is this blend that ensures the durability of a flexible seat, where linen alone would sag. Two colors are available: natural and dyed black—the latter reserved for the black-lacquered ash frame.
