Charlotte Perriand, an iconic figure of modern design, conceived this stool with an architectural presence that reflects her love for poetic harmony.
The first version of this stool, created for the dining room of her Parisian apartment, was made of tubular steel with a rattan seat. Presented in 1929 at the "Équipement intérieur d'une Habitation" exhibition at the Salon d'Automne in Paris, it was used in the bathroom with a terry cloth seat, thus demonstrating its versatility and elegance. Cassina is reissuing this great classic in several versions that adapt to all styles.

La maison

Cassina
