Bella coffee table Ø 45 x H 49

The Bella Ø 45 x H 49 is a round coffee table with a diameter of 45 cm and a height of 49 cm. Its tabletop is made of solid wood with a water-based lacquer finish, featuring a beveled edge that makes the side profile appear slimmer. The legs are made of molded oak veneer, lacquered in the same finish. The entire piece remains lightweight and can be moved with one hand. It is ten centimeters taller than the low Ø 45 version, putting it at armrest height for most sofas. HAY offers it in 8 colors in this size, and in five sizes in total. The colors displayed on your screen are indicative; they depend on your monitor settings and the wood grain.

The design

The Bella is not signed by an external designer: HAY designed it in-house, and its technical data sheet mentions it as such: "design by HAY." The company works with independent designers on a large part of its catalog and designs the rest itself, generally for pieces where function dictates form more than individual artistic expression. This is the case here: a tabletop, three legs, a beveled edge.
