Lire la suiteThe KV1 is a single-hole kitchen mixer tap with a ceramic disc cartridge, featuring a spout that pivots on two joints. It is one of Vola's iconic early designs and has been part of the MoMA permanent collection since 1974.
With a height of 235 mm, it is operated by a short lever and installed in a 32 mm hole, using 3/8" supply hoses. Its water-saving aerator limits the flow rate to 5 l/min.
The brushed stainless steel can be maintained with a simple damp cloth; a special stainless steel cleaner can be used if necessary. Alcohol, bleach, thinners, and chlorinated detergents should be avoided as they discolor or corrode the surface, as should scouring powder and abrasives, which would damage the brushed finish.

Le designer
Arne Jacobsen
