Kelim Merge rug

A rug is an excellent way to define a space and, through color and shape, creates a sense of coherence between a room's furniture and accessories. In beautiful burnt hues, the Kelim Runner redefines traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with Ferm's design DNA and its keen sense for geometric and organic shapes and colors. The Kelim Runners are handmade, which is why the weave can slightly differ from one rug to another. The weaving technique used is the “Punja” loom—a traditional manual loom and one of the oldest weaving techniques. In addition, the wool yarn is hand-dyed, and some variation in shade may occur due to the nature of the wool and dye. The Kelim weave and wool yarns have a unique, coarse feel. This is part of the characteristic of the traditional kelim technique.
