Brushed stainless steel can be maintained with a simple damp cloth; a special stainless steel cleaner may be used if necessary. Alcohol, bleach, thinners, and chlorinated detergents must be avoided, as they will discolor or corrode the surface, as will scouring powder and abrasives, which would damage the brushed finish.
