Arabesco is a coffee table designed by Carlo Mollino in 1949 and reissued by Zanotta under license. The structure is made of bent plywood, veneered in natural or black-stained oak with a wax-finish varnish, whose cut-outs and curves recall the design of an arabesque. It is fixed to the top with crossbars. The upper top is 10 mm tempered glass, the lower shelf is 8 mm tempered glass: extra-clear glass for the natural oak version, smoked grey glass for the black-stained oak version, so that the tint of the glass matches that of the wood. It measures 129 cm in length, 53 cm in depth, and 45 cm in height.

A collector's item

Arabesco is featured in the collections of the Neue Sammlung in Munich and the Fondazione Triennale Design Museum in Milan. The rights to Carlo Mollino's work belong to the Italian State; Zanotta produces it under an exclusive license granted by the Agenzia del Demanio.
