Palissade Armchair Cord

Palissade Cord takes the collection’s powder-coated steel frame and replaces the steel slats with recycled polyester cord, hand-woven onto the frame in a tone matching the frame's color. The change is not decorative: the cord deforms slightly under weight and contours to the body, whereas the slat remains flat, making the seat more flexible without adding a cushion. The weaving allows water and air to pass through just like the slatted version, so the seat dries just as quickly. The symmetrical geometry and proportions remain exactly the same as the original version: both versions mix well around the same table. This dining armchair shares the exact dimensions of the Palissade dining armchair—63 cm wide, 66 cm deep, 80 cm high—and therefore slides under the same tables.
