Fondée au Danemark en 1982 par Peter J. Lassen, Montana Furniture est née autour d'un système modulaire de rangement toujours fabriqué sur l'île de Fionie. Ses modules se déclinent dans une palette de couleurs développée avec la designer Margrethe Odgaard.
