United Pets Pets (R)evolution The Alps Pet Bed

Pets (R)evolution is a collection for cats and dogs born from the meeting of two Italian companies: Seletti, which produces household objects with a playful sense of humor, and United Pets, which has been manufacturing pet accessories in Milan. The concept is based on a simple idea: take everyday utilitarian objects—a bed, a bowl, a mat—and cover them with photographic imagery of various destinations. Four designs exist: New York, The Alps, The Maldives, and DoggyMood, the latter being the series' Hollywood-inspired nod. Each design is available as a bed, a ceramic bowl, and a feeding mat, and there is no need to stick to the same theme for each item: the collection is designed to be mixed and matched. The bed comes with a mat, which prevents it from sliding on smooth floors: this is the United Pets contribution to the project, the focus on practical utility rather than just the image. These are interior objects, meant to be placed in a living area rather than a utility room: the decor is only worthwhile if it can be seen.

Seletti announces a polyester bed and a ceramic bowl with a capacity of 300 ml.
