Toiletpaper jewelry is made of stainless steel and features the magazine's imagery: pendant necklaces, drop earrings, and stud earrings. The motifs are those from the magazine, the Plunger and the Shit, scaled down for jewelry.

The size then distinguishes the pieces from one another. The necklace pendant measures 28 mm in one case, 25 mm in the other; the drop earrings measure 25 mm and then 14 mm; the stud earring comes in at 12 mm. These dimensions should be interpreted on the scale of jewelry: 28 mm is the width of a coin and a pendant visible from across a table; 12 mm is a dot on the lobe, noticeable up close but not from afar. The price follows the type of jewelry rather than the size of the motif: the necklace is above the drop earrings, the stud below.

The choice therefore involves three overlapping levels: the type of jewelry, the selected motif, and the size at which it is worn. The same motif can be found from one piece to another: the shit can be worn as a necklace pendant, as drop earrings, or as studs, while the plunger can be worn as a necklace or as earrings.

Le designer

ToiletPaper
