Toiletpaper jewelry is made of stainless steel and features the magazine's imagery: pendant necklaces, drop earrings, and stud earrings. The motifs are those from the magazine, the Plunger and the Shit, scaled down to jewelry size.

The format then distinguishes the pieces from one another. The necklace pendant measures 28 mm in one case and 25 mm in the other; the drop earrings measure 25 mm and 14 mm; the stud earring comes in at 12 mm. These dimensions should be read on the scale of the jewelry: 28 mm is the width of a coin and a pendant that can be seen from across a table; 12 mm is a dot on the earlobe, noticeable up close but not from a distance. The price follows the nature of the jewelry rather than the size of the motif: the necklace above the drop earrings, the stud below.

The choice therefore rests on three overlapping levels: the type of jewelry, the chosen motif, and the size at which it is worn. The same motif can be found across different pieces: the Shit can be worn as a necklace pendant, as drop earrings, or as studs; the Plunger as a necklace or as earrings.

Le designer

ToiletPaper
