Hiray Lounge Chair - Ludovica + Roberto Palomba

The Hiray collection plays with metal. This material is one of the most important in the ecological redefinition of the Kartell catalog. It is crafted using wire-welding techniques to highlight lightweight, modern pieces.

Designed for outdoor living, the collection creates an airy, three-dimensional design. The entire project is animated by a wire metal pattern which, by joining together, stiffens and builds the structure, characterized by an organic form made from a single piece.

The rigidity of the metal is combined with the softness of cushions made from an innovative fabric derived from recycled bottles and other PET waste.

Outdoor spaces become new living areas thanks to these refined and unique pieces that combine aesthetics and functionality, blurring the boundary between indoor and outdoor.

Ludovica+Roberto Palomba: "HiRay is clearly inspired by the Kartell philosophy and translates its concepts into a product range that defines a new trend for outdoor living. HiRay continues Kartell’s exploration of new worlds with a design that puts metal in the spotlight and interprets it according to the canons of lightness and modernity. Designed for outdoor living, HiRay stands out for its cutting-edge technology and its use of wire not only to create sinuous, sunny transparencies, but also to create three-dimensional shapes."
