Outdoor sofa - Palissade Lounge L 139 cm by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec

The Lounge Sofa is the widest seat in the collection: 139 cm of bench space for two people, with a depth of 88 cm. It features the same low 38 cm seat and reclined backrest as the lounge chair, allowing for a complete lounge set where everyone is at the same height. The seat and backrest are made of spaced-out flat slats mounted on a tubular steel frame: rainwater passes through instead of pooling, and air circulates under the body. It is available in powder-coated steel, with the paint cured in an oven, and in hot-dip galvanized steel, dipped in a bath of molten zinc: an unpainted finish that develops a patina and holds up better in seaside environments.
