Holy Crab Wunderkammer Sculpture by Diesel Living

Wunderkammer takes its name from the Renaissance cabinet of curiosities, a room where shells, bones, and minerals brought back from travels were collected. The collection draws on this repertoire—a seashell, a wolf's skull—and casts them in aluminum: fragile natural forms become frozen in solid, shiny metal. The result is no longer a specimen; it is a tabletop sculpture that retains the exact design of the original but features a metallic surface. Each piece stands alone, on a console or shelf, and serves no function other than decoration.
