Ronan Bouroullec

Le designer

Ronan Bouroullec

Ronan Bouroullec, né à Quimper en 1971, étudie à l'École nationale supérieure des arts appliqués et des métiers d'art. Son vase Soliflore entre au Centre Pompidou dès 1996, et Giulio Cappellini le remarque au Salon du meuble de Paris en 1997. Rejoint par son frère Erwan, il fonde avec lui un studio parisien qui dessine pour Vitra, HAY, Flos, Cassina, Magis ou Kvadrat. En parallèle, il dessine depuis l'enfance : le dessin est devenu pour lui « une sorte de compagnon », une pratique instinctive et libre. Ses dessins ont été montrés à la Galerie kreo, à la Licht Gallery de Tokyo, à la Casa Mutina de Milan et au Centre Pompidou en 2024 ; l'Art Institute of Chicago en conserve. The Wrong Shop en édite des tirages.
