Diesel Living Wunderkammer Wolf Skull Sculpture

Wunderkammer takes its name from the Renaissance cabinet of curiosities, a room where shells, bones, and minerals brought back from travels were collected. The collection draws on this repertoire—a seashell, a wolf's skull—and casts it in aluminum: fragile natural forms are captured in solid, brilliant metal. The result no longer resembles a specimen; it is a tabletop sculpture that retains the exact design of the original but displays a metallic surface. Each piece stands alone, on a console or a shelf, and has no function other than decorative.
