Fièvre drawing booklet - Ronan Bouroullec

2023, 16 illustrated pages

Ronan Bouroullec, an internationally renowned French designer, practices drawing daily as a purely artistic activity, independent of his profession.
For Ronan Bouroullec, drawing is a relaxing, even meditative process, where he gives free rein to his intuition and creativity, without planning the forms in advance. Thus, the forms are not defined by a precise beginning or end, which can lead to multiple interpretations.
Ronan Bouroullec considers drawing essential to his balance. The book Fièvre accompanies the exhibition "Daily Drawings" at the Hôtel des Arts TPM in Toulon. With nearly 300 works (drawings, bas-reliefs, and notebooks) on display, it reveals a small, still little-known part of his creative talent. An infinitesimal part compared to the thousands of drawings he keeps, but rich enough to shed light on this very intimate facet of the personality of one of the most talented French designers of his generation.
